He holds a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (2012) and a postgraduate degree in Art Direction from the École Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne, Switzerland. He developed the online magazine Drawn to Places as his final degree project, which was awarded the FBAUP Communication Design Acquisition Prize (2011/2012). He interned at the design and creative direction studios Colönia (Porto, 2013) and HelloMe (Berlin, 2016). He was a resident designer in the Vista Alegre IDPool programme (Ílhavo, 2012) and a resident artist in the Cripta747 programme (Turin, 2019). He has exhibited his artistic work periodically since 2008, notably in the exhibitions “Mood Swings and Frozen Natures” (2014) in collaboration with Pedro Lourenço and “Vertigem” (2015) as a solo exhibition at Galeria Dama Aflita, Porto. In 2015, together with Horácio Frutuoso, he curated the exhibition “y” with the support of the Porto City Council's Department of Culture, with the participation of a group of Portuguese artists and designers born between 1980 and 2000. He divides his time between graphic design and creative direction projects, editing, illustration and fine arts. He lives in Berlin, Germany.
